Our History
Phillips Metal Works is the result of nearly 50 years of working in metal fabrication. Nathan Phillips began his journey in Atlanta, Georgia in 1961 working for Atlanta Metal Products, a well-known, reputable metal manufacturer. His early years were spent learning in the residential roofing and gutter industry, and as his experience and skill grew he made the decision the start his own company in 1970. Over the years, he built his knowledge and reputation within the trade, as well as his interest in an assortment of metal applications.
That interest was passed on to his son, Chris Phillips, who further expanded the company’s experience and expertise into a variety of areas in metal fabrication. Now, as owner and operator of Phillips Metal Works, Chris’ goal is to offer customers the widest possible range of architectural metal design products, materials and services to meet their every need.
